Block Island enjoys an exciting coastline, alternating bluffs and miles of beautiful coves and beaches. The bluffs are spectacular, with views of the distant coastlines of Connecticut, Rhode Island and Long Island, NY. Block Island features two excellent harbors (Old and New Harbors) that provide easy transportation to and from the island with new and "conventional" ferries. Old Harbor is home to a number of very colorful fishing boats that glisten in the morning sun and are a photographer's delight.
